And, because it was vertical on the stick, all the piping hot filling slide down inside to the bottom and the whole top half was empty dough. in theory it sounds like the stuff my dreams are made of, but it was really just a calzone on a stick. Of course the Greek girl goes for the Gyro, but I wasn’t complaining! I’m a fan! This ice cream wasn’t mine, I just got creepy and took a pic of the people sitting next to us. I was hoping to save room for other artery-clogging goodness. (Yes, I’m aware that it looks melty on the edges). The bread was soggy (i would have preferred a crispy crusty cheese on the outside) and the cheese slices on the indside of the sandwich, weren’t melted inside. Ok- all that keeps running through my head is this: “why didn’t I ever think to make a grilled cheese using Texas Toast?” Literally, I can eat my weight in Texas toast so it only makes sense to turn it into my favorite sandwich, right? I have to admit- that while all the right ingredients were present here- it wasn’t really executed as well as it could have been. On my list was the inside out grilled cheese, and damn it if I wasn’t going to have one. Both aggrevate my digestive system, but TBH I don’t even care. Without further ado- let’s get to the noms!

Patrons of all ages are invited to check out Indy’s largest pop-up fair this summer.

With a wide selection of home goods, treats, clothing and accessories available, there’s something for every Hoosier to discover. The fair will feature booths from local vintage and thrift shops, boutiques, bakeries and eateries, beverage companies, artists, and many more. to invigorate their sales and connect with the community and local customers after a very, very long year. The fair will take place at Sun King Brewery in downtown Indianapolis on July 17th and 18th, from 10am to 6pm each day.Ī bio of the fair on Do317 describes “This Must Be It” as “ a chance for small/tiny local businesses, artists, food-makers, performers, etc. “This Must Be It,” a pop-up fair hosted by Indianapolis-based group Six Ways Markets, will take place later this month and showcase over eighty local businesses.
